Be-An-Alien is an interactive, animated cartoon made with Macromedia Flash. It was made as a semester project for the university, in a team of two we first planned the general story, after that I did the cartoon while the other teammate created a website for it. Everything was drawn by hand, especially the interactive animation relies on ActionScript and every byte possible was saved to make it as small as possible.
It shows a story of a naive alien who is sent to earth to solve the alien's food shortage-problem. Of course things go wrong and you have to help the alien. Depending on if you do it right or wrong, the story takes a different course.
The cartoon was not only shown on all InfoScreens of Vienna's underground-stations, it also won in the netD@ys-contest.
